This fun-spirited charity softball game, which has raised more than $150,000 throughout the past three years, benefits Victory Junction Gang Camp - a special place where children with chronic medical conditions can retreat to rejuvenate their minds, bodies and spirits. The camp was co-founded by NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series driver Kyle Petty and his wife Pattie, in honor of their late son, Adam.

The state-of-the-art ballpark opened in 2002 and has a seating capacity of 4,616, but Silver Cross Field can hold more than 7,000 fans with the General Admission areas (grassy hills). In 2003, Baseball America ranked Silver Cross Field the second0-best of the 66 ballparks in the independent classification of professional baseball and first in the Northern League.
