Statement from Chicgaoland Speedway on Passing of Dr. Bruce Kennedy

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to all associated with the tragic plane crash involving Dr. Bruce Kennedy. Our deepest sympathies are with our President, Lesa Kennedy, and her son, Ben, who have lost a loving husband and father," said Chicagoland Speedway President Matthew Alexander. "Doc Kennedy was a good friend and always a welcome face at our races. With heavy hearts, we will do our best to honor his life by hosting a NASCAR weekend at the high level he would expect."
