Martin Truex, Jr. Will Start First at Phoenix on Sunday

AVONDALE, AZ - RIS - Martin Truex, Jr. was the surprise pole winner for Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Phoenix International Raceway. Truex held of Kurt Busch who joins him on the front row for the first of the final two races before a new champion is crowned a week from Sunday.

Points leader Jimmie Johnson will start third with Kasey Kahne and Denny Hamlin rouded out the top five.
