Bristol, TN .... RIS.. Penske racing new racing rookie sensation Justin Allgaier is setting his place at the NASCAR table. He is second for rookies in the Nationwide Series points total for the four races run so far this year. As of this race he is sitting 8th in the points just 224 behind NASCAR Sprint Cup Series contender Carl Edwards, and 89 points behind the leading rookie, Brendon Gaugan. With his first top 5 of the year and second top ten of the 2009 series run he is one that will be watched as the year wears on.

Justin is the chauffeur of the Penske Racing #12 Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger. At the drop of the green flag for the Scott's Turf Builder 300 Justin Allgaier started in the 14th position and ended his successful day in 5th place. Not bad for the rookie who had no track experience at the Bristol half-mile. He and Crew Chief; Chad Walter, have out together a good solid team for Penske racing. This young driver from Illinois had a time of 15.51 seconds, and a speed of 123.682 MPH which set him on the outside of row 7 for the start. Not bad day of work for anyone running on the World's fastest half-mile bull-ring track.
