TRIO OF USAC/SMRS MIDGET RACES
SET FOR SAPULPA, CRANDALL & FORT WORTH


       Brad Loyet leads the USAC/SMRS Great Plains Midget Series into a pivotal week of action as the series faces three races in Oklahoma and Texas. The two Texas races also offer “double” points.

       Loyet, of Sunset Hills, Mo., holds a 140-point lead over Matt Sherrell of Owasso, Okla. entering Thursday night’s race at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.

       Races are slated Friday night at the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas and Saturday night at the Cowtown Speedway in Fort Worth.

       Brady Bacon and Bryan Clauson scored SMRS feature victories at the Fort Worth oval when the series visited the quarter-mile dirt track back in February.

       The USAC/SMRS Series has also announced that the series will conclude with points being awarded at the October 8-10 Dupont Gold Crown Nationals at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Ill.
